Role details
As the Indigenous Sector Outreach Manager you will develop and implement outreach strategies that bridge academia and the Indigenous community. You will work with internal teams and external partners to shape the Centre's public image, influence decision‑making, and support its mission in higher education. This is a role focused on marketing, communications, and stakeholder management to drive Indigenous engagement and marketing excellence.
Responsibilities
* Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and execute outreach plans aligned with the Centre's goals, overseeing marketing and communications.
* Manage Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary liaison between external partners and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery of campaigns.
* Oversee Brand Consistency: Collaborate to maintain a consistent brand identity across communications channels.
* Coordinate Alumni Engagement: Manage the MURRA Collective, facilitate alumni communications, and document event outcomes.
* Engagement and Partnerships: Engage with Indigenous communities and organisations to advance the Centre's objectives.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field with at least four years of relevant experience.
* Experience liaising between external partners and internal teams in marketing or project management.
* Strong skills in managing marketing campaigns, including digital initiatives.
* Excellent communication and attention to detail; proficient in project management, approvals processes, and meeting deadlines.
* Strong analytical skills to understand customer needs and identify market opportunities.
