Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned aircraft maintenance leader to spearhead our engineering team in Broome/IOT.
This key position plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, driving a safety-first culture, and contributing to a zero-harm environment.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Lead and motivate the engineering team, planning and overseeing scheduled maintenance activities.
2. Maintain a strong focus on safety, participating actively in safety programs and fostering a zero-harm culture within the team.
3. Assume duties of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer as needed.
4. Ensure adherence to procedures manuals and responsible CAMO requirements for aircraft maintenance, documentation, and certification.
5. Support and supervise maintenance personnel, including apprentices, when required.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Experience as a licensed LAME B1/B2 or dual-licensed professional.
* A background in heavy and line maintenance.
* Proven leadership experience in managing an engineering team.
* Possibility of obtaining a DHC8 Classic Type Rating for those not currently rated.
