About the role
The Charter Account Manager will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and will be responsible for supporting the development and growth of sales activity for National Jet Express. This role will manage a portfolio of existing clients and prospective adhoc charter customer relationships at all stages of the charter process, coordinate end-to-end adhoc charter delivery, source and acquire new adhoc charter clients, and develop new streams of adhoc business that promote maximum charter fleet utilisation. You will also:
* Support the management of existing client contracts including developing strong client relationships, to ensure 100% retention of existing clients
* Manage the end-to-end adhoc aircraft charter process including pricing, charter confirmation and contracting, drafting charter briefs, and coordinating charter delivery with clients and internal and external service providers
* Support the development and maintenance of future growth and capability development plans for National Jet Express
* Develop and source adhoc charter leads from mining charter clients as well as from adjacent markets such as the travel industry
* Assist in the management and development of tenders and bids for prospective new customers and preparation of adhoc charter agreements
* Liaise with approved cross-hire providers to ensure client adhoc charter requirements are met
* Maintain and report up-to-date knowledge of market conditions and competitor activity
* Assist the Chief Commercial Officer and Business Development team as required
* Maintain accurate records of all adhoc charter activity for performance analysis and billing purposes
* The nature of this role means that some after hours and weekend work may be required
Mandatory Requirements

* Relevant vocational qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to establish, develop, and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships
In addition to the above,
* Previous experience in an airline operational or commercial role (highly desirable)
* Established track record of business development activity (desirable)
* Experience in proposal development and preparation and responses to complex tenders (desirable).
