CatholicCare Tasmania has a long-term commitment to respond to Family Violence in Tasmania and we are looking for an equally committed person to join our Safe Choices Team in Tasmania in the position of Case Worker.

1 Full-time Temporary Case Worker
Based in Hobart – Maximum 12 Month Term– Maternity Leave Cover

Your Role:
The role will provide case work including case planning, outreach, advocacy and referrals to those Safe Choices clients experiencing family violence who may require on-going support. This role will report directly to the regional Team Leader and Program Manager of Safe Choices.
What you bring to the role:
* Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or other relevant discipline with experience in responding to Family Violence
* Demonstrated high level skills, knowledge and expertise appropriate to the provision of support to all people experiencing Domestic and Family Violence.
* Hold a current Working with Vulnerable Persons Registration, satisfactory national police check, and a current driver’s licence
