The program
Red Cross supports students to fulfill their community placement university studies through the Migrant Playgroup and Parenting Program under the Yummy Tummies Parenting Program
The opportunity
Australian Red Cross recognises that community placements give students the opportunity to gain specific skills to their subject or industry of choice as well as the employability skills required for real-life work.
The impact
During student placement, you'll be implementing a community pre-negotiated project, Yummy Tummies, with the refugee and migrant families from Red Cross's playgroup community in Coffs Harbour.
Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the World's largest humanitarian network.
Application requirements
For this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check, organised through Red Cross
To submit an application, you will need to provide details for two professional references
The role will also require you to hold or apply for a NSW Working With Children Check. Red Cross can assist you to apply for this check
