You’re capable. You’re ambitious. But the firm you’re in feels… stuck.
Work arrives late. Development is vague. Career progression is something that’s “talked about” but never clearly mapped.
If you’re an accountant who wants to keep moving forward — and you’re starting to realise your current firm isn’t set up to support that — this role is worth your attention.
The Experience You’ll Have Here
This is a firm built for accountants who value structure, clarity, and momentum in their career.
You’ll work in an environment where:
* Workflows are organised and deadlines are planned, not constantly reactive
* Expectations are clear, and feedback is timely and constructive
* Professional development is intentional, supported, and ongoing
* Ambition is met with real opportunity, not vague promises
You won’t be left guessing what the next step is — or whether there even is one.
The Working Environment
Your day-to-day matters — including where you spend it.
You’ll work from a spacious, office with city views, easy parking, and close proximity to the city centre. It’s a calm, professional space that supports focused work and genuine collaboration — not cramped desks or constant distractions.
The environment reflects how the firm operates: organised, considered, and built for professionals who take pride in their work.
The Role
As an Intermediate Accountant, you’ll be trusted to manage your work and continue developing your judgement, with support from experienced professionals who are invested in your growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing BAS, Financial Statements, and Income Tax Returns for clients across a range of industries
* Assisting with accounting, taxation, and business advisory matters, including annual tax planning, estate planning, and business purchases and sales
* Working closely with senior team members to build technical capability and confidence
* Contributing positively to team culture and firm objectives
Who This Role Is For
This role suits an accountant who is ready to move beyond “just getting the work done” and wants a clearer path forward.
You’ll likely bring:
* 5+ years’ experience in a Public Practice firm
* CPA or CA qualification (or currently working toward it)
* Strong attention to detail and professional standards
* A proactive mindset and genuine interest in adding value for clients
What Makes This Firm Different
We are intentionally building a firm with structure, direction, and long-term vision. That means investing in people, planning properly for growth, and creating roles that evolve — rather than letting good accountants plateau.
If you want clarity around where your career is heading — not just hope — you’ll feel at home here.
Accommodation is also available if required.
