Responsibilities
Provide technical advice to operations during greenfield analysis on reserves quality, drilling programs and geotechnical parameters.
Undertake soil investigations and surveying work in the field.
Support the senior geotechnical engineering team with surveying and footings.
Provide geotechnical reviews and advice to stakeholders, and track and manage areas of risk.
Conduct PERC / JORC reporting for reserves and resources.
Identify and support operations with shortage of reserves, and assess appropriate replacement reserves.
What will you learn?
Geotechnical software such as Deswik CAD, LeapFrog, and MINEX.
Field work, surveying, footings, and testing required for geotechnical engineering projects.
Experience in a high-performance workplace, with mentoring by senior professionals and geotechnical engineers.
