The role
The organisation is a leading provider of integrated energy solutions and services for commercial and industrial customers across Australia. The business operates across a portfolio of electricity, gas, environmental products and energy productivity services, supported by renewable energy generation assets and a commitment to the transition to clean energy.
Role Responsibilities
- Coordinate project close-out ensuring all deliverables and documentation are complete.
- Manage structured handover from construction to operations.
- Develop and manage close-out schedules including critical path and reforecasting.
- Coordinate commissioning inputs, testing, and onboarding into operational systems.
- Drive stakeholder alignment, accountability and communication.
- Identify and resolve gaps, risks and issues.
- Establish and maintain backlog and defect registers.
- Drive resolution of outstanding items through structured escalation.
- Continuously improve close-out processes and frameworks.
Key Communications & Working Relationships
- Internal: Projects, Flex Operations, Asset Management, Engineering, Commercial, Legal, HSSE.
- External: Customers, subcontractors, OEMs, installers and service providers
About You
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Project management experience in energy, infrastructure or construction.
- Experience in project close-out, commissioning or handover.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Commercial and contractual awareness.
Qualifications & Licences
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management or similar (desirable).
- Project management certification advantageous.
