About the Role
One of our clients is seeking a
User Experience Researcher (UXR IV)
to join one of our client projects in Sydney. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful initiatives in a hybrid work environment, contributing to user-centered product development through advanced research methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and design effective user research studies.
* Conduct research using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods, such as usability testing, interviews, concept evaluations, surveys, and literature reviews.
* Synthesize and analyze research data to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
* Create clear, compelling deliverables that communicate findings through storytelling, visualization, and evidence-based insights.
* Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to drive user-focused decision-making.
* Explore new tools, methods, and applications of AI to enhance research practices.
Required Qualifications
* M.A./M.S. or PhD in Experimental Psychology, Design Research, Human Factors, Social Sciences, HCI, Cognitive Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* 3+ years of applied experience conducting user research.
* Proficiency in at least two of the following: usability studies, surveys, interviews, literature reviews, concept evaluations, diary studies, or competitive evaluations.
* Strong skills in managing, synthesizing, and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data.
* Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Google Sheets, R, Python, or similar).
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and well-structured research presentations.
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
