The Role:
As a QHSE Technical Writer, you will be responsible for reviewing, updating, and maintaining key Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) documentation in line with international standards. Your work will directly impact compliance, efficiency, and project success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and refine QHSE management system documents in alignment with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
* Ensure documentation meets Australian standards and project-specific requirements.
* Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Implement feedback from external auditors and internal stakeholders.
* Collaborate with internal teams to publish updated documentation in the relevant management systems.
Who We're Looking For:
* Senior/Expert level knowledge of OHS with a Diploma of OHS (preferred).
* Experience working with an ISO-accredited management system (OFSC accredited systems are highly favourable).
* Confident and experienced in updating Quality (functional) documentation.
* Strong time management skills, able to produce deliverables efficiently.
* Excellent writing abilities, with the ability to apply regulatory and corporate documentation to local documentation.
* A quick learner who can work independently with minimal supervision.
* Senior Level Experience
* Construction Experience
* Location is flexible – we're happy to work with the right candidate through MS Teams, as our SMEs are based all over Australia.
* Must hold Lead Auditor Qualifications inISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
Location & Work Arrangements:
* Flexible – Work from home or from one of our nationwide office locations.
* Standard business hours, with flexibility where required.
Pay Rate:
* $110 - $140 per hour depending on experience
