Job Description

The International Enrolment Advisor is responsible for recruiting and enrolling international students into the business unit, brand, or campus within the Australian Careers and Industry Division. This role requires a proactive, service-oriented approach to build and manage relationships with prospective students, providing them with detailed course information, admissions criteria, and personalised guidance throughout the enrolment process.

The Advisor will collaborate closely with agency partners and direct applicants to meet campus and individual enrolment targets on a trimester basis. A key component of this role includes engaging with international education agents through regular meetings and outreach activities to grow and maintain strong referral pipelines, in alignment with the broader international recruitment strategy.

Additionally, the Advisor will work closely with the admissions team to ensure that all enrolments meet institutional standards and compliance requirements, aligning with admissions policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage inbound and outbound communication with prospective international students, providing accurate guidance on courses, entry requirements, and the student experience.
* Conduct on-campus tours and interviews for prospective students and agents, building rapport and confidence in the brand and institution.
* Support applicants through the admissions pipeline—from enquiry to enrolment—ensuring documentation is complete and processed efficiently.
* Build and maintain strong, service-oriented relationships with students and agents, ensuring a positive enrolment experience.
* Respond to leads from marketing campaigns, digital channels, and events, providing timely, student-centric and compliant information.
* Match student needs and academic backgrounds to suitable programs, campuses, and career pathways.
* Collaborate with educational agents and internal stakeholders to manage the enrolment pipeline and support trimester-based enrolment targets.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular reporting on student interactions, conversions, and market demand trends.
* Attend recruitment events, webinars, and outreach activities to promote programs and drive student engagement.
* Identify and support new strategic opportunities, agent partnerships, and initiatives that contribute to international growth.
* Provide input into marketing, recruitment, and engagement strategies to improve student acquisition and experience.
* Ensure all recruitment activities comply with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
* Contribute to broader divisional goals through cross-campus collaboration, student support, and project-based initiatives.

Provide support for domestic student recruitment activities as required, contributing to a unified approach across international and domestic enrolments.

Qualifications

Qualifications

* Previous experience in student recruitment, sales, or customer service, preferably within the education sector.
* Experience working with international students and/or educational agents is highly desirable but not essential.
* Use of sales and service systems, preferably including previous use of Salesforce CRM.
