Are you an enthusiastic psychologist with an interest in child development, early intervention and neurodiversity? An exciting opportunity exists to join an expanding psychology team in the Child Development Service. The Child Development Service offers psychologists: The opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in working with infants and young children and their families. Training in psychological assessment, with a particular focus on autism and developmental assessment. Collaboration within a social, supportive, multidisciplinary team environment to develop and deliver group programs and short term supports for children with developmental delay and their families. Access to strong individualised support and supervision. Access to paid professional development and a community of practice. Some flexibility in working hours with an openness to continuing with private practice work. Eligibility/Other Requirements: At least three years recent experience working with children and families. Current registration as a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). This position requires a current Australian Drivers Licence As this role is likely to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and young people, cultural awareness and capacity to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is highly desirable. Notes: This is a permanent part time position (60% FTE / 22.05 hours per week). A merit pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
