Offer description

Spray Rig Operator – Full-Time | Great Pay Incentives & Work Vehicle Provided

Patterson Rural Contracting is a well-established, family-run business delivering professional weed control, spraying, and land management services across the region.

We're looking for a Spray Rig Operator to join our team — someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and wants a reliable, well-supported role without the usual contracting chaos.

This is a hands-on role with consistent work, paid overtime, and full vehicle support.

🌿 About the Role

You'll be out in the field operating and managing a spray rig, working alongside a small team and supported by experienced management.

Your day-to-day will include:

* Operating spray rigs for weed control and land management

* Planning daily runs, routes and job priorities

* Working alongside a co-worker to get jobs done efficiently

* Handling chemicals safely and following compliance requirements

* Maintaining equipment and keeping records up to date

* Communicating with the team and occasionally with clients

This role suits someone who enjoys independence, practical work, and being outdoors, but still wants the backing of a solid team.

What's Included
* Fully maintained company vehicle

* Fuel and running costs covered

* All equipment and insurance provided

* Strong behind-the-scenes support (so you can focus on the job)

* A team that actually has your back

👤 About You

We're open to a range of applicants — what matters most is attitude, reliability, and willingness to get the job done.

You'll need or be happy to obtain prior to commence:

* Chemcert (essential)

* Current driver's licence (essential)

* Car licence (C) class required

* White Card and asbestos (preferred)

* Experience in spraying, agriculture, landscaping, or outdoor work (ideal but not essential)

* A practical, hands-on approach

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

⭐ Why Join Us
* Stable, full-time work with consistent hours

* Paid overtime — no unpaid extras

* Supportive, family-run business (not a big corporate machine)

* Variety in your work — no two days the same

* Sustainable workload — we value long-term team members

If you've worked in farming, landscaping, construction, or machinery operation — we'd love to hear from you.
