Cardiology Support Officer Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and personable support officer to join our dynamic cardiology team.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our cardiology service, you will provide high-quality support to both inpatient and outpatient clients. Your responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients, booking diagnostic tests and clinic appointments, providing administrative support to clinicians and managing our Referral Information Management System.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet and assist patients on arrival and departure
* Book inpatient diagnostic tests and outpatient clinic appointments
* Provide administrative support to clinicians, including typing medical letters
* Manage the Referral Information Management System (RIMS)
* Coordinate the Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic schedule
* Monitor and respond to the main Cardiology inbox
Requirements
* Previous experience in a healthcare or customer-facing admin role preferred
* Strong typing skills desirable
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Team player with a positive, professional attitude
* Training will be provided for the right candidate
