Call Centre - Service Desk Officer

What we need from you?

- Previous experience in a high-volume call centre, help desk, or service desk environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Certificate III in Information Technology or equivalent qualification, or recent graduate in IT or related field

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Call Centre Service Desk Representative to support our clients with first-line technical assistance and service-related queries. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in a call center or service desk environment, looking to play a key role in delivering high-quality support across IT and business services.

What you’ll do:

You will act as the first point of contact for users, providing productive, friendly, and knowledgeable support—ensuring each interaction is resolved promptly or escalated appropriately.

- Deliver responsive, customer-focused ICT support aligned with Digital Health SA policies and SLAs.
- Manage incidents and service requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Escalate complex technical problems to relevant support teams.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service desk improvements.
- Proven experience in ICT support or service desk environments.
- Strong communication, customer service, and confidentiality handling skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and service management tools.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, healthcare-focused ICT setting.
