DFP Recruitment has partnered with an exciting Sydney based organisation to recruit a Technology Services Manager on a fixed 12-month contract working in their beautiful waterside offices in the heart of the city. 
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technology Services Manager to lead a agile team in overseeing and optimising their ICT systems. As the Technology Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of all technology systems across a diverse organisation. Reporting directly to the Head of Technology, you will also provide strategic insights and technical support to various stakeholders. 
**Responsibilities**: 
- Lead the ICT operation and Service Desk, providing technical support and escalation management. 
- Provide strategic and operational advice to all projects, including those with public-facing components. 
- Ensures the continuous lifecycle management of ICT assets and services, ensuring the systems are current and fostering innovation. 
- Implement policies and procedures that align with agree-upon service levels, while keeping operational practices up to date. 
- Identify and allocate resources for planning, developing, and delivery of ICT systems and services. 
- Oversee the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure components, closely monitoring performance with third-party providers. 
- Collaborate with the Head of Technology to uphold operational ICT security, data protection, and adherence to industry best practices. Additionally, manage financial budgeting for strategic advice and staff requirements. Develop procedures and training plans for client’s systems. 
**To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills**: 
- Proven experience collaborating with managed service providers. 
- Proficiency in Infrastructure technologies, including Azure, AWS, Google, and On-premises solutions. 
- Demonstrate experience equivalent to SFIA IT Management Skill Level 5. 
- Certification in ITIL Version 4.0 
- Track record of successfully managing ICT systems and providing technical support in capacities. 
- Strong project management acumen, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. 
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
