Details: The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is looking for interested Librarians to fill the Manger, Library Resources and Digital Services position. You will be responsible for the management of library and learning resources and systems within the CIT Library and Learning Services.
As part of the leadership team the Manager contributes to the strategic development, planning and management of student focused library services through providing leadership and professional advice on collection development, procurement and access to library and learning resources, and the implementation, management and development of library systems and software.
During 2026 this position, you will be responsible for implementation of the OCLC TIPASA document delivery service and the establishment of a CIT Digital Archive for CIT's 100-year anniversary in 2028.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Mandatory:
* An appropriate degree or equivalent which allows for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
* All CIT and ACTPS employees are required to complete a criminal history record check form prior to employment.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in an educational environment is highly desirable.
Note: This is a temporary position available from January 2026 for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. You will have opportunities for flexible working options, which could include part-time hours, flexible start, and finish times, and hybrid working, being a combination of working from home and designated office-based work from CIT Campuses, subject to operational requirements. Under activity-based working (ABW) arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
