Clinical Scheduling Coordinator (Contract)


Location: Aspley (hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days WFH)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Pay: $35.15 per hour + super
Duration: 6-8 weeks (with view for extension)

The Opportunity


Join Australian Unity's Clinical Health Concierge team as a Clinical Scheduling Coordinator, where you'll play a vital role in connecting customers with the right healthcare professionals at the right time. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in healthcare coordination while working in a supportive, hybrid environment with comprehensive training provided.



Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate and schedule clinical staff appointments to meet customer needs
* Make daily changes to schedules as needed, ensuring customers receive timely care
* Respond to scheduling change requests from clinicians and customers
* Liaise with third-party providers when additional clinical staff are needed
* Use scheduling systems (Salesforce and other platforms) to manage appointments and maintain accurate records
* Provide administrative support including managing emails and answering calls
* Communicate with team leaders about staffing needs and availability
* Ensure all customer and staff information is kept up-to-date and accurate


What You Bring

* Experience in scheduling and rostering environments (highly desirable).
* Sound understanding of administration procedures and general business practices.
* Initiative in completing tasks to tight deadlines and the flexibility to handle constantly changing priorities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and empathy with customers and relatives.
* Compliance with relevant screening requirements eg Qualifications, Working Rights and other regulatory checks required.
* Certificate III or above qualification in community, aged care or administration is desirable.
