The Opportunity
As part of our dedicated IT team, as the IT Support Officer you will provide level 1 and level 2 desktop support to users both on site and remotely as required. This position is a full time permanent role based at of office in Paget, Mackay.
You will be proactive, keen to provide high quality service to our end users. As a global business formed through acquisition in Australia, we have a broad range of initiatives underway where you can have a real impact on our growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Provide first and second level Helpdesk support
* Maintain company IT infrastructure as required
* Basic Active Directory administration
* Configuration of new hardware including computers and telephony
* Maintaining asset registers
* Participate in IT projects, including system rollouts, upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and technology standardisation initiatives.
* Design and deliver end-user training, including creating training materials, running sessions, and helping users adopt new tools and processes.
* Contribute to the development and upkeep of knowledge base articles, user guides, and internal documentation.
* Work collaboratively with the wider IT team to identify improvements, streamline processes, and enhance the end-user experience.
About You
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
* Experience with providing Helpdesk support for end users.
* Exposure to Microsoft and ITIL environments.
* Knowledge of Office 365.
* Microsoft certification would be highly regarded.
* Proactive, customer focused and approachable team member.
* Excellent communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to be hands‑on and perform tasks to support our teams.
* Self‑motivated, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a geographically dispersed team.
