**THE OPPORTUNITY**
- Plan and execute testing related deliverables across various test levels that include both functional and non-functional testing.
- Develop and maintain testing artefacts as appropriate.
- Extensive collaboration required with BAs, other testers, and software developers.
- Provide accurate feedback to developers and ensure they understand the issues to be addressed.
- Responsible for test completion end to end
- Involvement in creating and maintaining Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Scripts based on business Requirements, Use cases and Functional Specifications in consultation.
- Contribute to various stages of testing - System Test, SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance, Post Verification Testing - to provide quality assurance and testing of new and existing solutions
- Manage defect lifecycle - defect triage, retest and defect reporting using JIRA
- Review test plans for change requests made by IT and make recommendations to improve testing where necessary.
- Own and create traceability matrix and test cases using JIRA/Zephyr/Confluence
- Co-ordinate releases into the test environments with the development teams
- Actively seek to understand industry developments in testing products and approaches.
**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
A strong Test Analyst background is required to be successful for the role including:
- Demonstrated understating of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts, on prem and cloud.
- Expertise in Backend Testing, Data Warehouse Testing and BI/SSRS Report Testing.
- Experience in test execution, the review of business and non-functional requirements, preparation of test plans, test cases and test summary reports.
- Expertise in creating and executing SQL queries.
- Experience of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Experience in test execution, the review of business and non-functional requirements, preparation of test plans, test cases and test summary reports.
- End to end life cycle experience - SIT, UAT, Regression, Post Verification Testing
- Solid experience with writing Test Plans, Test Cases, and Reporting
- Experience in API testing
- Good understanding of Scrum based Agile Methodology
- Experience of using Microsoft DevOps
- Graduate qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Programming or related qualification.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations from across the business functions
