This role represents an opportunity for a hardworking individuals to futher develop their residential constuction skills and knowledge.The role also offers development opportunities into transport, logistics and supervisory roles.Qualifications and SkillsTrade qualifications and or experience in a frame and truss maufacturing.Essential requirementsA focus on safety and qualityA can-do and flexible attitudeBe reliable, committed and hard workingKey ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain woodworking machinery (e.g., saws, planers, moulders, CNC machines)Read and interpret technical drawings and job specificationsSelect and prepare timber for machiningEnsure all work meets quality and safety standardsPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipmentCollaborate with other team members to meet production deadlinesRequirementsAt least 2 years experience as a wood machinist or in a similar roleStrong understanding of woodworking machinery and toolsAbility to work from technical drawings and specificationsExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanshipKnowledge of health and safety regulations in a workshop environmentCertificate III in Wood Machining or equivalentWhat We OfferA supportive and skilled team environmentOpportunities for professional growth and trainingModern, well-equipped workshop
