Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Telecom Support Engineer with strong experience in Major Incident Management, Problem Management, and supporting telecom network-related applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise with Linux-based applications, scripting, and modern DevOps tools, along with solid knowledge of telecom OSS environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead Major Incidents and Problem Management activities to ensure rapid resolution of critical issues.
Provide L2/L3 support for telecom network-related applications and platforms.
Perform application monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for complex technical issues.
Support Linux-based applications, including log analysis, system tuning, and application-level fixes.
Work on database and application clusters, ensuring system availability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network, DevOps, Development, OSS teams) to resolve issues.
Support automation, deployments, and continuous improvements using scripting and DevOps tools.
Maintain documentation for incidents, problems, processes, and standard operating procedures.
Must-Have Skills
Strong experience in Major Incident Management & Problem Management
Solid exposure to Telecom OSS domain (minimum 2 years)
Experience supporting telecom network-related applications
Proficiency in:
Linux-based application support
Scripting: Perl, Python
