The YMCA offers classes for children from crawling age through to 13 years, youth classes from 14 years up, and adult classes. Our programs encourage children to participate in a safe and structured environment. Gymnasts can progress from Kinder Gym through to National Competition levels based on age and skill level. We have a variety of gymnastics programs for different levels to suit everyone's needs.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
We are now seeking a **Customer Services Officers **to join the team at **YMCA Caloundra Gymnastics** on a **casual basis.**
You'll be the sparkle in someone's day as you provide a genuine and warm customer service experience. The role is all about your captivating personality helping members feel welcome every time they walk through our doors. You'll be the face of The Y and offer an engaging and fun atmosphere while you answer general enquiries, facilitate membership subscriptions, bookings, enrolments and promote our programs and services.
The role of **Customer Service Officer** involves (but is not limited too):
- Providing high quality, efficient, friendly service at reception, over the phone and in all written correspondence;
- Ensure timely response to customers' needs or concerns
- Provide information about and facilitate memberships, enrolments and bookings
- Marketing and promotion of our programs and services to potential, new and existing members.
- Perform opening/closing duties including cash counting, till balancing, daily cash reconciliations and banking
**ABOUT YOU**
The successful applicant will possess the below:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to perform a range of administration duties, which include data and word processing, filing, photocopying and reception with the ability to prioritise work and meet set deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as to self-motivate and work autonomously
- Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills and phone manner
- Excellent computer skills using a variety of systems (POS, Outlook, MS Word/Excel)
- Be flexible to work early mornings, evenings and weekends
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates or be willing to obtain these
- Currently possess, or be willing to obtain a National Police Check
