We are seeking a skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our products to allocated customer markets, generating revenue and closing sales.
The primary purpose of this role is to:
* Manage a portfolio of critical customers and plan, profit, and contract management
* Increase profitability through effective price and contract management, zone density, and profitable product substitution
* Generate and convert leads by identifying customer business growth opportunities to grow sales and/or volume density
* Understand, monitor, and report competitor activity and market trends
* Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities with accurate information and interactions recorded in Salesforce CRM
* Drive improvement in product/services provision and develop mutually rewarding relationships
* Comply with safety standards, processes, procedures, and regulations
Key Skills:
* Excellent sales skills
* Hands-on experience in preparing strategic customer action plans
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce CRM, and SAP (desirable)
* Strong understanding of price management and solid business acumen
* Advance presentation skills with excellent business development and influencing abilities
* Passion for ongoing development to enhance technical expertise in relevant fields
