hands-on Senior Software Engineer
to help drive the next generation of the
Flite App
and
Cloud platform
, delivering seamless user experiences and scalable cloud infrastructure. You’ll work across Flutter mobile apps and AWS-backed cloud systems, and ideally bring awareness (or experience) across the
firmware layer
, enabling smooth integration with hardware features used on-water. This is a hands-on development role in a

You’ll work closely with: · Head of Technology · Head of Product Development and Engineering · Cross-functional App, Cloud, and Embedded teams What You’ll Do Design, develop, review, test, and evolve Fliteboard software Lead development of the cross-platform Flutter App (iOS & Android) Build and scale backend systems on AWS (Lambda, CDK, Postgres, React) Engage in on-water/off-water testing with hardware-integrated features Participate in code reviews and collaborative GitLab workflows What You'll Bring Mandatory Qualifications & Experience: · Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
industry experience (5–10+ years) · Proven app development experience with
Flutter/Swift/Kotlin · Experience with
AWS (Lambda, Postgres, CDK, React) · Solid grasp of
Bluetooth LE
, unit testing, and config management · C# for internal test tools · Embedded environments (Nordic nRF528xx, STM32) · Experience in
marine electronics
