The Applications Specialist will join a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of wear products and services for mining equipment.
Our ****-strong global team is committed to innovative solutions and to being carbon neutral by ****, contributing across more than 100 professions and trades.Role SummaryAs an Applications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-level technical support, driving product development, and ensuring customer-centric solutions that exceed expectations.In This Role, You WillBe the technical bridge between customers and engineering, translating challenges into actionable solutions.Support product innovation, working with Digital R&D to advance next-gen Digital Products and reverse engineering initiatives.Ensure safety and compliance, aligning designs with legal requirements and "Safety in Design" principles.Validate digital products, conducting trials and performance evaluations in close collaboration with the sales team.Deliver insights by investigating market trends, customer pain points, and technical growth opportunities.Key Technical CriteriaStrong technical acumen, Mechanical/Electrical trade qualifications.Customer-first approach, ensuring technical support and solutions align with market needs.Collaborative mindset, working with the Engineering Team Lead and Product Manager to bring innovations to life.Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review and refine product designs for optimal performance.Attention to detail, ensuring high-quality execution of engineering activities from validation to product documentation.Qualifications in Mechatronics or Electrical engineering will be considered, but not mandatory; relevant experience and a formal trade qualification are welcome.Mining Experience (Excavators & Trucks) – Essential hands-on experience in mining environments with excavators and haul trucks.LocationThis role is based in Brisbane or Newcastle.Why join our team at Bradken?
