Our Hunter New England Allied Health Assistant Traineeship is a great way to gain invaluable experience in Allied Health support and the health sector.

Remuneration: $14.82 - $21.88 per hour + super

About the job:

* This Allied Health Assistant traineeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain a recognised qualification, namely a Certificate III in Hospital or Health Services Pharmacy Support while getting hands-on experience.
* Under the supervision of hospital pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, you will assist the team with clinical and non-clinical tasks.
* This may include patient one-to-one sessions, general dispensing and distribution duties, setting up equipment, and maintaining treatment areas amongst other tasks.
* The hospital pharmacy team will provide you with dedicated support and time to complete your Certificate III in Hospital or Health Services Pharmacy Support.

You will have unique learning opportunities to explore developing your pharmacy technician career path within Hunter New England Health. This traineeship is ideal for recent school leavers looking to gain a valuable qualification in a health-related field.

Join a skilled Hospital Pharmacy team and support staff dedicated to providing excellent patient care. As part of the Belmont Hospital Pharmacy Department team, you'll be embraced by a friendly, collaborative atmosphere working alongside both Hospital Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians. You'll have supervision and support provided from the Belmont Hospital Pharmacy Department team, who are very eager to help you learn and grow as a professional during your traineeship.

Requirements:

* Need to have completed year 10 at a minimum, but completion of Year 12 is highly valued.
* Applicants need to have finished school within the last 12 months

* An eligibility list will be created for future temporary part time vacancies.
