Give the Gift of Companionship – Become an Advocare Volunteer Visitor
Advocare Incorporated is an independent, community‐based, not‐for‐profit organisation that supports and protects the rights of older people in Western Australia. Through the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), volunteers provide one‐on‐one social visits to older people living in residential aged care facilities or receiving support at home, helping to alleviate loneliness and improve quality of life.
Responsibilities
* Deliver one‐on‐one social visits to older adults, building meaningful relationships and reducing loneliness.
* Support residents with companionship, conversation and engagement activities.
* Follow ACVVS guidelines and maintain confidentiality.

Training: Volunteering induction and training provided as part of the role.
