The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Newcastle team. As our client portfolio grows across the resources, energy and industrial sectors, this position will help support and expand our engineering and design capabilities. This a great opportunity for a talented and passionate Engineer to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.
Our mechanical team consists of talented engineers and designers who provide a full suite of engineering services including dynamic analysis and non-linear finite element analysis (FEA), on a wide range of small and large projects. Some of our Mechanical capabilities include Bulk Materials Handling Design, Crushers, Overland Conveyors, Process Plant Equipment, Tailings Dams & Pumping Design, and NPI Equipment Design & Services.
Responsibilities
* To promote an engineering innovation culture to enable your team members to respond effectively to change.
* Coordinate resources across projects and support lead engineers in the delegation of tasks and duties to other team members.
* Guide and support lead engineers throughout complex processes s and technical and non- technical problems

* Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
* Exceptional time management and organisational skills
* Experience with maintaining long-standing relationships with clients

Our Newcastle team also integrates and supports the broader works in the West by collaborating with our Perth and Mandurah teams.
