Operating nationally with multiple branches and supported by in-house parts and technical capability, the business is known for its people-first culture, long-term partnerships and commitment to safety, quality and reliability.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Executive Leadership Team, the General Manager - Finance will own the financial performance of a complex, asset-heavy national operation.
This is a broad, hands-on leadership role for a commercially astute finance executive who enjoys being close to the business. You will protect cashflow, manage banking relationships, support major investment decisions and provide the financial insight required to drive sustainable growth. The role blends strategy with execution and offers genuine influence at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities
* Own group cashflow and working capital in a capital-intensive environment
* Lead and develop an established finance team
* Manage banking and funding relationships to support growth and stability
* Partner with the CEO and ELT to drive profitability and commercial outcomes
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, compliance and risk
About You You are a
CA or CPA qualified
finance leader with experience in heavy industry, manufacturing or similarly asset-intensive environments.
You are commercially minded, hands-on and accountable, with the confidence to operate at both executive and operational levels. You bring clarity, discipline and calm leadership to complex financial environments.
