What To Expect
Tesla Oakleigh is a state‐of‐the‐art body shop, and we're looking for an experienced Body Repair Painter to help bring Tesla vehicles back to their flawless finish. In this role, you'll be working with cutting‐edge EV technology, using the latest tools and techniques to ensure a perfect paint application every time. What You'll Do
* High quality spray application of Primers, Sealers, Basecoats, and Clearcoats
* Spraying approximately 6 (Fully Prepped) RO's per day (2 Bumper, 1 - six panel jobs, 3 - Two to three panel jobs) in state‐of‐the‐art Downdraft spray booths
* Work closely with Prep Staff and other Painters to meet work demands as a team
* Invisible basecoat colour blending
* Application of 2 and 3 stage colours
What You'll Bring
* 3+ years of experience refining cars in an automotive collision repair environment utilizing urethane based refinish systems
* Able to produce sprayed finishes with little or no dirt and a consistent gloss and texture matching the OEM finish without the need to sand and buff
* Willingness to work overtime if required
* Any certification in I‐Car Australia is a plus
* Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
* Capable of reading and comprehending automotive repair procedures
* Experience with operations and maintenance of a wide variety of hand and power tools, shop tools, test equipment
* Must be willing to train others
* Must be comfortable working in a collision shop environment
