Based at our Melbourne, Burwood Campus hybrid work arrangements Part Time (0.6FTE) and continuing HEW 6 $96,276 - $103,971 17% Superannuation (pro rata, part time) Position Overview The Professional Placement Officer is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the School’s counselling courses and will also incorporate administrative roles for other postgraduate programs. This includes providing coordination and administrative support to course related meetings, and other tasks in relation to the smooth running of the postgraduate courses. As a Professional Placement Officer, you will: Assist with the administration selection, enrolment and assessment processes for students across these courses in accordance with University policies and procedures Act as a general contact point for students, staff and placement agencies for the school’s post graduate courses, as well as the school’s work integrated learning programs. Seek feedback from stakeholders regarding their satisfaction with the support services received, respond to feedback with openness and transparency and seeking to identify ways to provide a better service Provide advice to stakeholders on processes and practices that improve the experience for students and stakeholders including putting in place recommendations for improvement Build new and productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and/or key and influential individuals across the University To be successful, you’ll have: A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
