Job Description
We are seeking a skilled trainer to deliver practical, hands-on carpentry training to senior secondary students. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching VETDSS, VCE Vocational Major, or VPC programs and be able to foster safe, engaging, real-world learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver training aligned to the Certificate II program
* Work with students in Years 10–12
* Foster safe, engaging, real-world learning environments
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Trade qualification in Carpentry or Building & Construction
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) or nearing completion
* Experience teaching in VET, TAFE, or senior secondary settings (preferred)
* Strong communication, engagement and behaviour management skills
* A genuine passion for helping young people succeed in life and work
* Working with Children Check
