Whether you're responding to incidents, maintaining clean and safe spaces, or helping prepare the pool for busy community programs, this role puts you at the frontline of creating a great experience for every visitor.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supervise all aquatic areas with high vigilance
* Prevent and respond to incidents promptly and safely
* Deliver professional and friendly customer service always
* Record and report incidents and hazards accurately
* Prepare pools and surrounds for hirers and events
* Maintain aquatic centre cleanliness and presentation
* Support adherence to City policies and procedures
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to community safety. You'll ideally bring:
* Current Pool Lifeguard Licence (essential)
* Current Provide First Aid Certificate HLTAID011+ (essential)
* Strong knowledge of supervision, rescue and safety skills
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
* National Police Clearance under 3 months (essential)
* Previous lifeguarding experience (desirable)
