Job Responsibilities:
As a Registered Midwife in Tasmania, you will:
* Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to mothers and newborns.
* Support women and families through the birthing experience, ensuring safe and positive outcomes.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including obstetricians, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
* Monitor fetal development and provide education and emotional support to expectant mothers.
* Perform routine maternal and newborn assessments, ensuring optimal patient care .
* Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and best practices .
Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking passionate and experienced midwives who:
Are registered with AHPRA (or eligible to apply)
Have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in midwifery
Possess strong communication and teamwork skills
Demonstrate compassion and dedication to maternal and infant care
Are adaptable and eager to work in diverse clinical settings
