About the role
As a Senior Accountant in our Business Advisory division, you will collaborate closely with our Managers and Directors to deliver quality accounting, tax, and business advice to our clients. Working with a collaborative team, you will provide guidance and review the work of junior team members. You will play a key role in fostering a high‐performing working environment and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Autonomously preparing and reviewing individual, company, trust and partnership financial statements and tax returns, as well as BAS's for our more complex clients
* Preparing budgets, management accounts, and cashflow forecasts across a various entity structures and industries, including involvement in regular client meetings to discuss
* Producing financial reports, mainly using Xero and MYOB, including maintaining the clients accounting and reporting systems
* Assisting with the coaching and development of junior team members
About you
The successful candidate will be a CA or CPA qualified accountant (or working towards), with relevant tertiary qualifications and experience within a public practice accounting firm. You will demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge to review work & provide quality solutions for your clients. Ideally, you will be driven, a strong collaborator and possess solid taxation knowledge.
