**About the role**:
As a Software Test Analyst, you will play a key role in the development of fintech products that are changing the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve consulting on software development or operations processes, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements.
**What you will be doing**:
- Reviewing and comprehending business requirements and functional specifications to develop test strategies.
- Locating and/or conditioning test data through sourcing techniques.
- Performing system related tasks such as balancing and verification.
- Evaluating and documenting results and processes
- Identifying test results which do not meet expected results, and log defects with the appropriate level of information, following up defects to completion
**What you will need**:
- Good Experience in writing test strategies and test scripts from business requirements documents.
- Good expertise in writing, designing and executing Test Cases.
- Experience with reporting defects to a Defect Management system
- Good knowledge and experience in Defect Management.
- Sound experience with Automated testing tools and analysis of results.
- Relevant Tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Defect Management tools like Jira
- Full Australian Work Rights
**Highly Desirable Skills**:
- Strong problem ownership and resolution skills
- Ability to work from Business level specifications and work with Business staff with testing and systems practices.
- Experience testing Web Services and APIs
- Knowledge of Visa/Mastercard Schemes
- Formal training in testing methodology
- Experience in developing testing scripts from Functional Specification Documents.
