We're seeking a dedicated professional to facilitate and deliver technical training in Initial Employment Training and Post Initial Employment Training.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team, reporting to the Training Team Leader - Senior Educator, on a permanent part-time basis (0.4 Full Time Equivalent) at 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality technical training to Defence personnel within a simulated working environment
* Supervise Australian Defence Force personnel in a dynamic team setting
* Provide specialisation skills and advice to support aviation technical training initiatives
* Develop and maintain relationships with customers, government agencies, and industry partners
* Create innovative training solutions and documentation, ensuring stakeholder requirements are met
* Maintain accurate electronic records of training documentation
* Guide and mentor Defence trainees and students in best practice within the aviation industry
Requirements:
* Demonstrated industry experience as a qualified Aviation Maintenance Engineer or Aircraft/Electrical Engineering background with experience in Aviation Safety Regulations
* A certificate III/IV in Aeroskills or higher qualification, or a current EASA/CASA licence
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective relationships with stakeholders
* The drive to improve current processes and solve complex problems
* A self-motivated attitude with a strong desire for continuous learning
