Job Description Our Full-Time Assistant Reservations Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in guiding our dynamic team of six Reservations professionals. This position is integral to driving performance, elevating service excellence, and maximizing revenue within a luxury hospitality environment. Key responsibilities include: Inspire, coach, and motivate team members to foster a positive, high-performing culture Support the management, development, and ongoing training of Reservations Sales Agents Oversee group reservations coordination, ensuring accurate contract rate loading and system integrity Assist the Reservations Manager in achieving departmental targets, including membership enrolments and revenue goals Champion luxury quality standards through performance reporting, training initiatives, and team development Collaborate closely with Reservations and Revenue Management teams to manage availability, pricing strategies, and implement stop-sell directives when required Conduct thorough arrival checks to ensure seamless and exceptional guest experiences Lead by example through precise processing and input of reservations in accordance with hotel standards Monitor and reduce outstanding reservation accounts to maintain financial accuracy Maintain a proactive, sales-driven approach to optimise occupancy and revenue performance
