DIESEL MECHANICS or FITTERS - The GULF / FNQ
We are currently seeking qualified Diesel Mechanics or Fitters for full time, permanent positions based in the Gulf or Far North Queensland (FNQ). This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, reputable, and secure company.

The successful candidates will possess the following:
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Diagnostic experience
- Good communication skills
- Experience on trucks and trailers
- Heavy earthmoving experience a bonus
- Strong fault finding skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Truck license preferred
- Extra skills, experience, tickets and licenses will be advantageous
Your duties will include:
- Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
- General Repairs/maintenance works – Trucks & Trailers/4×4’s
- Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
- Checking vehicle lighting systems
- Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
- Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
