Barminco has successfully tendered for the exciting Bellevue Gold Projectlocatedapproximately 40km north-east of Leinster in Western Australia's Northern Goldfields region. Operated by Bellevue Gold Limited, Bellevue is one of Australia's highest-grade underground gold mines, achieving commercial production in 2024 and positioned for significant long-term growth.
This major underground operation combines industry-leading mining practices with a strong sustainability focus, including a hybrid renewable energy power station designed to supply more than 80% of the site's power requirements through renewable energy sources.
About the Role
As part of this project, Barminco is seeking experienced and motivatedUnderground Electricianto join the team on a full-time basis, working an8/6- 7/7FIFO roster. These roles are integral to delivering safe,productiveand efficient underground mining operations at the Bellevue Gold Mine while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the Bellevue Gold Mine.
Your role will support underground production within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?
Install,maintain, and repair underground electrical systems, including power, lighting, and control circuits
Diagnose and fault-find electrical issues to minimise downtime and keep operations running safely
Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on underground equipment
Ensure all workcomplies withsafety regulations, procedures, and electrical standards
Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to support daily production and maintenance activities
Complete job documentation, reports, and isolation procedures accurately and on time
Previousexperience working as an electrician in an underground mining environment
Trade qualification as an Electrician (or equivalent)
Current Electrical License
High voltage switching certificate (within 2 years is desirable)
Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence)
