Your responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring and analysing security alerts: utilise a variety of tools to keep a vigilant eye on security alerts, ensuring swift identification and response to potential threats.
* Vulnerability assessments: identify vulnerabilities within our systems and recommend actionable strategies to mitigate security risks effectively.
* Incident response: assist in the investigation of security breaches, taking immediate action to contain and mitigate threats, ensuring our systems remain secure.
* Policy development: contribute to the creation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with industry standards and regulations.
* Compliance assurance: conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with relevant frameworks.
* Security tools implementation: leverage and fine-tune security tools and processes, staying updated on the latest technologies and trends in cybersecurity.
* Education and training: help develop security awareness training across our LeavePlus team while fostering a culture of security across our organisation. Build and launch effective content educating our internal team about risks and policy updates across the evolving cyber security landscape.
* Reporting and documentation: create detailed security reports for our team and regulatory bodies, maintaining comprehensive documentation for security incidents and compliance requirements.
