A unique opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse to join our Dove Specialist Palliative Care Unit at Caloundra Health Service. Dove Palliative Care Unit is a purpose built fourteen bed unit situated at the Caloundra Health Service facility. The ward provides specialist inpatient care and support for people suffering with a life limiting illness and their families and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities include:
* Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
* Lead quality improvement activities and provide clinical portfolio holder management of relevant National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards within the unit.
* Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Sunshine Coast Health Values.
* Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, work health and safety and ethical behaviour.
Remuneration value up to $83 305 p.a., comprising salary rates $54.44 - $58.30 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (multiple, part time positions, 48 hrs p.f.).
