Role Overview
JLL is the appointed Property Manager for Sydney's 1 Elizabeth Street Tower, a premium office tower with 60,000sqm of net lettable area integrated into the Sydney Metro network. The client, Macquarie Bank, occupies 70% of the tower, with the remaining 30% awaiting lease by external agents. The General Manager represents Macquarie Bank as the senior client liaison and is responsible for the overall performance of the property and its management team.
Responsibilities
* Lead the property management team and oversee all functions, including leasing, financial management, health & safety, and operations.
* Develop and execute asset strategy to maximize income, control costs, and mitigate risks for the client.
* Prepare detailed asset plans, complex budgets, and comprehensive performance reports.
* Add value through identifying value‐enhancing or essential capital works, expanding net lettable area, and creating a proactive leasing strategy.
* Act as an ambassador for the asset, representing the client, JLL, tenants, and the community.
Qualifications
* Dept. of Fair‐Trading Real Estate Agent's Certificate IV in place or commenced, on schedule for completion within two years.
* Minimum of 10years' experience in premium or prime grade property/asset management, including tenure in office and retail assets.
* Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing a property management team.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.
* Strong financial aptitude, commercial acumen, analytical skills, and computer literacy; capability to manage an independent profit centre.
