**About The Role**:
Stellar Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor for a hard rock mining operation in Queensland. This is a permanent position, offered on a 12/9 roster FIFO from various locations. Travel is in company time.
Working on site at the mine and reporting to the Mine Manager, you will be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Provide survey support and assist the technical services group in the planning process
- Monitor compliance to the mine excavation and dump schedule
- Establish and maintain a system of survey marks adequate to complete mining work
- Ensure survey data is recorded and stored as per project management plans
- Prepare monthly and other survey plans and volume reports
- Monitor and manage the condition of survey equipment on the project such that all equipment is calibrated
**Skills & Experience Required**
- Previous experience in mining as surveyor
