About The Role
As a HR Driver, you will play a crucial role in our road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the region. This casual position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing company committed to excellence in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operating and maintaining refrigerated transport vehicles to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition
* Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies to ensure compliance
* Monitoring vehicle performance and conducting regular inspections to identify and address any issues
* Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods at pickup and delivery points
* Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with clients
* Collaborating with the broader transport and logistics team to ensure seamless operations
To Be Successful In This Role You'll Have
* Valid HR Licence
* Ability to operate a heavy vehicle in a professional & safe manner
* Physical fitness for manual unloading
* A punctual, reliable and courteous approach to all tasks
* Ability to pass a medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing
* A willingness to learn and be trained on electronic equipment, such as tablets, for reporting and monitoring driving hours
* Ability to comply to the no smoking or vaping policy in all company vehicles
* A strong Think Safe attitude
* Previous experience in Refrigeration Transport (highly regarded)
