About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Plumbing Teacher to deliver engaging, industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver training and assessment for Plumbing Certificates II, III & IV and associated qualifications.
* Develop and evaluate student learning materials and resources.
* Support student engagement, attendance, and outcomes.
* Maintain accurate teaching and compliance documentation.
* Participate in industry consultation, curriculum review, and marketing activities.
* Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
* Ensure vocational competence and compliance with quality standards.
Skills and Experience Required
* A relevant Degree, Diploma or Trade Certificate in Plumbing.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent, including TAEASS502 and TAELLN411).
* Minimum two years' experience as a qualified plumber with a current plumbing industry commission license.
* Sound knowledge of related building trades.
* Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and relevant technologies.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
* Experience in diverse teaching strategies and understanding of AQTF standards.
* Commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, Anti-Discrimination, and continuous improvement.
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
* A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* A National Police Check
