Sales Representative
Location: Forrestfield, WA
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 Base + Commission
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. Working within the truck/trailer manufacturing and transport industry, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and lead generation.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
* Prepare quotations, sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
* Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to delivery and after-sales support.
* Assist customers with licensing, permits, handovers, and warranty enquiries.
* Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
* Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular performance reporting.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and transport regulations.
* Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and WHS requirements.
Essential Requirements
* Heavy Combination (HC) Driver's Licence.
* Minimum 5 years' experience within the transport, heavy vehicle, trailer manufacturing, or related industry.
* Experience selling capital equipment in a B2B environment.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
* Excellent time management, and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Desirable Requirements
* Multi Combination (MC) Driver's Licence.
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
* Relevant trade qualification or technical background.
* Experience selling heavy vehicle or transport equipment.
* Knowledge of transport laws, regulations, licensing, and permits.
* Proven history of achieving sales targets.
