Role
We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our APJ Field Sales department. This is a hybrid role based in Sydney (3 days a week in‐office), reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales Engineering.
As a Zscaler Pre‐Sales Systems Engineer, you and your Account Executive will help clients transform their network and application access by presenting the Zscaler cloud security solution to prospective customers, creating and delivering demonstrations of the products, gathering customer technical requirements, creating evaluation test plans with customers, and then managing the evaluation process to a successful conclusion. You will act as a trusted advisor while aiding the customer's transformational journey.

Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent extensive experience as a Sales Engineer or systems integrator
* 4+ years of experience in Pre‐Sales roles, including experience selling security or networking solutions in direct or high‐touch sales environments
* Proficiency with HTTP and web‐related technologies
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with routing and switching products, including troubleshooting
* Understanding of SaaS‐based technologies and network security technologies
* Hands‐on experience with systems installation, configuration, and administration of macOS, UNIX/Linux, and Windows‐based systems
