Apollo Care Alliance, Yackandandah Health, is a not‐for‐profit organisation dedicated to providing high‐quality care and services to our community. We offer a range of services, including residential aged care, medical services, early learning years care, and independent living units. The Role
We are seeking Personal Care Workers (permanent or casual) who share our passion for person‐centred care. It is essential that you understand the residential aged care environment and the standards we uphold, and that you bring a high level of empathy and compassion to every interaction. Shifts are available across the week, and while flexibility is ideal, we'll work with you to help balance your lifestyle with the 24/7 care needs of our residents.
What you'll do
* Deliver high‐quality, compassionate care tailored to each resident's needs and preferences
* Build positive relationships to enhance the resident experience
* Support residents with daily activities and personal care needs
* Complete accurate care documentation, progress notes and daily charts
* Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
* Safely undertake manual handling practices
* Responsible for safe administration of medications – Medication Competent
* Uphold Aged Care Quality Standards in everything you do
What you'll bring
* Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent minimum qualification – mandatory)
* Medication Competent / Medication Endorsed skills – most desirable
* Strong understanding of residential aged care environments and standards
* Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain – mandatory)
* A genuine passion for resident‐first, person‐centred care
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Empathy, compassion and a commitment to making a positive difference
